Hanukkah is just beginning, and I always get a little nostalgic at this time of year.
Growing up in Israel, we didn’t decorate for holidays. Our celebration was simple and deeply rooted in tradition: lighting candles together, eating sufganiyot (the best jelly-filled donuts you’ve ever tasted), and spending time with family.
When I moved to the U.S., I was amazed by the holiday magic people created inside their homes. Twinkling lights, garlands, wreaths, trees, ornaments…entire miniature villages! It felt like walking into a winter wonderland.
Little by little, I started collecting a few pieces myself. Just enough to bring that festive glow into our home. To this day, I still have my daughter’s laminated nursery-school menorah and my son’s kindergarten-made wooden menorah.
And in the past few years, we’ve started a new tradition: early on the first night of Hanukkah, my adult kids take over the decorating. It’s my favorite kind of chaos — unwrapping things, laughing, moving things around again and filling the room with sweet nostalgia …it fills the house with joy.
But then… the holidays end.
And suddenly, the cozy glow is replaced by the aftermath.
The menorah needs cleaning, oils, and candles securely put away…and if you celebrate multiple holidays, suddenly you’re juggling wrapping paper, extra serving dishes, and a sprinkle of glitter or pine needles that somehow get everywhere.
It all adds up quickly—and it can feel overwhelming.
I hear it every single year from clients:
“I love decorating… but packing everything away? That’s the part I dread.”
Which is why I’m so excited to introduce a brand-new service for December and January:

✨ NEW: Holiday Décor Pack-Away Service ✨
After the festivities settle, my team and I will come in and organize, wrap, and thoughtfully pack away all your holiday décor.
No more bins full of chaos next year.
No more tangled lights or broken ornaments.
No more hours of cleanup when you have a to-do list a mile long.
We get it done in just a few hours, so you can start the new year with clarity and calm—not clutter.

Hanukkah begins December 14th this year, and whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, or both — I’d be honored to help bring peace and order back to your home once the celebrations wind down.
When you’re ready, simply reach out, and we’ll schedule your session.
